How to get there by air

1. Fly to a nearby airport (most common option)

Cuernavaca does not have frequent commercial flights, so travelers usually fly to:

  • Mexico City International Airport (AICM)

  • Toluca International Airport

From there, you continue by land (bus, taxi, or car).

From AICM (Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México):

  • There are direct buses (for example, Pullman de Morelos)

  • Departures are roughly every 30 minutes to Cuernavaca

 

By bus (most common option)

  • Buses depart mainly from Taxqueña Bus Terminal in Mexico City

  • Available bus lines:

  • Pullman de Morelos

  • ETN

  • Turistar

  • Futura

  • Estrella de Oro

  • Travel time: About 1 hour 10 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes

  • Approximate cost: Around $140–$180 MXN
